 this moose came into our backyard in anchorage alaska and proceeded to take a long shower in the yard sprinkler and enjoyed the whole thing |

| The last couple of years we have had some moose visit our yard in Fairbanks, Alaska during the winter. They seem to enjoy the pea vines that are left over from our summer garden. This fine lady stayed for quite a while in November 1999, alternately eating, then lying down and sleeping. After she left our yard and proceeded to a neighbor's garden for more pea vines, she was phototgraphed and appeared in our Fairbanks Daily News Miner newspaper the following day.
